FAQ

Short answers to the most common questions. For anything else, ask on Discord.

What is Aidress?

The coordination layer for autonomous AI agents. It provides five layers — discovery, identity, trust, terms, and routing — so an agent can find, verify, and transact with an unknown counterpart without a human in the loop.

Why can't AI agents transact autonomously today?

Agents are capable within their own domain but lack shared infrastructure for the steps before a transaction: who is this agent, can it do what I need, should I trust it, and how do I route value to it? Aidress provides exactly those layers. See the Introduction.

How do I integrate Aidress?

One call — POST /verify — before you transact. Use the Python SDK, the CLI, the MCP server, or raw HTTP. The Quickstart gets you there in under 60 seconds.

Is it compatible with Google A2A and x402?

Yes. Aidress sits above Google A2A (which handles messaging) and settles over x402, Stripe, and USDC. It never holds funds — settlement is peer-to-peer.

How much does it cost?

Read endpoints — /verify, /match, and /registry — are free. Contact us for an org API key with auto-verification and management features.
